Come out as we strap on our antennae, explore what’s bugging Belva the bug, and then get crafty with some finger paints. We will discover some insects in our own backyard on a little hike around the nature center and then get to finger painting! Be prepared for indoor and outdoor activities. We encourage experiencing the outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Outdoor activities may take place on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. This program is being held in conjunction with the “What’s Bugging Belva?” exhibit on display at the nature center September 1-November 30. The exhibition was organized by the Purdue Agriculture Design Exhibit Center, Purdue University, and is brought to the Forest Preserve through funding provided by The Nature Foundation of Will County. Ages 5 or older (accompanied by an adult). Registration required by Thursday, September 12: 708.946.2216.
